Remember my 11 pound newborn from a few weeks ago(click here)? His momma asked me if I did birth photography. I have always wanted to and have been asked in the past, but due to hospital privacy issues was unable 
But this time it all worked out! I was so excited and I don’t think I have ever driven so fast in my life after dad called me and said, “You might want to come up now!” What an experience!
Unfortunately little Ryder had a few difficulties right after birth and I wasn’t allowed to photograph him as the nurses and respiratory therapist were taking good care of him, but I hope I still managed to capture the story and the emotion of the day.
I love how hard she is squeezing her hubby’s back! Ohmyword! This momma is a labor rock star….a legend in the L&D department! A natural non-medicated birth!!! 
I have given birth twice myself, but to watch it from a completely different viewpoint was just amazing and such an honor to be there. Thanks again for asking me to be a part of your amazing day.
And here is to blogging every day this week! 2 for 2! Yippee!!!
