Can you blame me??? This bald little

boy of mine is way too much fun and is growing up by the second. My photo blog can be put on hold. My baby can’t.
Loooong time! No post!
The “M” Family
I loved finally meeting this awesome family! We have been emailing back and forth for months trying to work out a date and a location and dealing with bad weather issues. But the day finally came last week….the day before Thanksgiving! It was 70 degrees and perfect shooting weather! Strange for Utah, but perfect for our session!

And perfectly behaved children! Wow! I especially love all the spunky, adorable faces of little sister! The camera loves her!

I’m pretty sure if I didn’t already have a baby of my own I would have kidnapped her! There is something about newborns that is magical!
Miss Spunky!
When I found out this family was finally getting their baby girl I was so happy for them! We were going to do pictures last fall but she was not quite ready for me (a stranger) to be in her personal space quite yet, so when I met up with them a few weeks ago I was expecting a shy little girl. Oh boy was I sooo wrong! She is a spit fire! Full of energy! I loved her and she even let me hold her and snuggle with her a little bit!

I felt bad for her mom because she said she is normally so snuggly with her and at the session she didn’t want anything to do with her! But I think by the time the session was over she was exhausted and we finally got some sweet snuggle pictures of mom and daughter.

Dogs vs. Kids
Hmmm….I think this was just the 3rd or 4th session I have done with a family dog and I am not sure if I have to be more obnoxious to get the attention of toddlers or dogs??? It’s probably a toss up and they are both just as fun and just as crazy!
I love this nice family! I have photographed them for 3 years now and either they don’t change, or I am getting older and don’t want to believe anything is changing!

The “K” Family
What a cute family! Three adorable little tow-headed kiddos! And I am soo happy I have a client with access to this this old truck! I think it made for some fun family pics! If I had a place to store it, I would ask to buy it!! I love the color and the textures!!

The “C” Family
What a cute family of mostly boys and then finally a baby sister!
Can you tell her daddy adores her???

The handsome brothers…
And the super cute-super, squishy-cheeks baby sis…

They just got home from Disneyland and I loved mom’s idea to bring their “Mickey Ears.” I love how baby sis is looking at them like, “what kind of family have I gotten myself into?”
Little Peanut, 6 1/2 Days New
I just love how itty bitty this new little peanut looks in this image. Just one of him for now, but lots more to share soon!!!
Pleasantly Surprised?? [Utah Family Photography]
Ah, what a cute cute family!
Toddlers can be so frustrating during family portraits….when you are the mom and dad! But I love those little stinkers! They might be little, but they have a mind of their own. I love the range of facial expressions with toddlers….they will glare at me, turn away from me, cautiously look at me, laugh at me (if I get loud and crazy enough!), and shyly smile at me. There have been very few times after a session with a toddler (especially 1 and 2 year olds) when a parent wonders if we got any good images. I hope you are pleasantly surprised, “S” family!
