I am a Utah photographer that shoots on-location, using natural light 90% of the time. I specialize in professional newborn photography, children photography, high school senior photography, family portraits, photography of couples, maternity photography, and Utah wedding photography shot in a clean, modern style. I serve Salt Lake City, Salt Lake county, Layton, Davis county, Ogden, Weber county and surrounding areas.

While my hubby sits in the family room next door doing who-knows-what with 5 of his college buddies late on a Friday night, I am playing with one of my favorite pics….clear back from 2008. This is one of my all-time favorite pictures!!! Not only do I love this little girl, but that expression is exactly what I love to capture!
P.S. My hubby and his friends are having some G-rated fun (just in case any of their wives happen to read this! NO funny business!!!)
Just 5 days old and barely 5 pounds.Even my teeny tiny hats were a little big on him! I could have easily put him in my camera bag to steal him, but I resisted.

Ok, so I have been photographing weddings for about 2.5-3 years now and not once have I ever photographed an LDS wedding at the Ogden temple. Most LDS couples drive past the Ogden temple on their way to get married at another temle, right?
Most brides scoff at the idea of getting married in the Ogden Temple because its not as pretty as the nearby Bountiful, Logan or Salt Lake temples. I can completely understand that. When I got married back in ‘97 (yeah, that’s right people! I am OOOLLLDDD!!!) my hubby and I chose the Ogden temple. It really wasn’t even a decision from what I remember. For us, it just made sense that because I was from North Ogden and he from South Ogden that we would meet in the middle in downtown Ogden to get hitched!
I have always wanted to shoot a wedding at the Ogden temple, but weddings are pretty rare there 
But now maybe I will get the chance in a few years since the Ogden temple will soon look like this:
Nice, huh? Although it is a little bit sad for me because of my history there, I am also really excited for the changes!

Yep, you heard it right. I want to provide a deserving couple with professional wedding photography. Here are some rules:
1. you must be getting married in the current Ogden Temple, which means your ceremony must take place this year before construction begins
2. you have to write me a little note telling me why you deserve it and a little about your love story (as if being cool and confident enough to get married in Ogden isn’t enough already, but I want to hear your story); (FYI: your note will likely be posted here on my blog)
3. either the bride or groom must be from Weber County

I am back from a fabulously exhausting family vacation! It was so much fun to get away and be with the ones I love the mostest!!! Here are my girls enjoying the view from our room….
Need a good family vacation idea??? We went on a Disney cruise and it was a blast! Highly recommended from the Mickey family (no pun intended).

Oh how I have loved working with Lindsay! Chris, too of course! But usually there is a lot more communication between me and the bride, and I seriously miss my brides after the big day! I have been so lucky in my career to work with so many fun and beautiful (inside and out) brides!
Here are a few from their winter wedding day a few weeks ago: (fyi… I got a new computer and my monitor calibrator will not work it with it! so if these colors look a little off….don’t be hatin’ too much! I’m workin’ on it)
Ok, so this next one I was playing in the bright noon-ish sun and even though its probably not the image you would print for your wall I like how different it is. Expirementing with light can be lots of fun. My hubby saw this one and said “I like how you can see her eyelashes”…something I hadn’t noticed! But he didn’t like the powerlines and I do! I love how they lead my eye to them. What do you think???
These images of Lindsay’s cute little girl are some of my faves!!! Just look at her! She knows she is so cute! I wish all of us women could look in the mirror each day and think the same about ourselves! 
I loved her! By the end of the reception we were BFFs

I loved catching Mr. G signing the guest book in his best cursive writing. So cute.

My favorite product that comes in my wedding collections is the engagement album/guest sign-in book. I think it’s my favorite for a few reasons:
EXCEPT for my wedding clients!! Theirs are actually looked at and read! Wahoo!!!Recently I found a new guest album book design and had to purchase it for my clients! It’s called the Interactive Guest Book and I think it’s fab-u-lous!!! All of my wedding clients will be able to choose from something like this or my other designs. Either way… you can’t go wrong!
